unmask.shield is already flagging institutional euphemisms for you — that's the free, permanent static tier, and it runs with no account at all. This key is only for the optional layer on top: AI-assisted detection for the phrasing the static list doesn't recognise yet.

1
Try the free tier right now, no key neededOpen Gmail or any text field and paste: Kinetic operations resulted in acceptable collateral effects. Click the underlined phrases for the plain-language translation and legal citation.
2
The static list won't catch everythingIt's a maintained phrase library, not AI — new or context-dependent euphemisms can slip through unrecognised.

A free key adds AI-assisted detectionReads the phrasing the static library misses. Only your selected text is ever sent, capped at 3,000 characters — or skip our servers entirely and run it locally via Ollama.
